Simple Syrup

Tools – 

Small saucepan –
 Rubber spatula –
 Squeeze bottle or airtight container
 Ingredients – 
1 cup water –
 1 cup granulated sugar 

Directions

 1. Combine water and sugar in saucepan, turn on to medium-high heat. Stir to saturate the sugar. 

2. Bring the solution to a boil, stirring throughout, to prevent caramelization of the sugar. 

3. Once it comes to a boil, remove from heat, allow to cool to room temperature before using or storing
